Welcome and thank you for giving us your time to visit our website. My name is Tsegaye Abebe. I am chairman of the Ethiopian Horticulture Producer Exporters Association (EHPEA). I am a farmer engaged in vegetable and flower production for export and local market for more than 20 years.
I and four companion growers established EHPEA in year 2002 to address mutual issues in the horticulture production and marketing strive. At present, I and my companions are thrilled by the growth in number and diversification in nationality of EHPEA’s membership; it has reached more than eighty and constituted of different nationalities in such in few years.
Equally, EHPEA members are proud of the prominent reputations that EHPEA has scored in promoting of the Ethiopian horticulture production and marketing at national and international venues.
However to sustain our progresses and stay competitive in the internationally, what we learned is getting on track of the characteristically changing horticulture production and marketing phenomenon globally.
Hence, with this purpose and further, we have hosted this website to interact with all stakeholders in a way of getting their views, experiences, comments, knowledge, learning to build-on as well as sharing our experiences, information, progresses, etc to update you on our status.
